How it works
How a book runs.

A book is selected
One book per cycle, chosen by the group. Roughly a book every two months, so there is time to finish it alongside a full-time job. Titles cover leadership, the business of sport, and career development.

Read at your own pace
Within reason. There is a halfway point partway through the cycle with a chapter target, and the reading calendar shows it alongside the call dates, so you can see what the club is aiming at without a chapter a day to keep up with.

The session
Sixty minutes or less on a video call, prompt-led and finishing on time.
One hour, and it finishes on time.

Two calls a book
Generally two organized calls per book, led by members.
- 02
Turning up counts
Turning up to a call is how a book counts as finished for you, so the calls are where the reading lands. Nobody is chased about it.

Between the calls
Between calls the conversation keeps going in the members’ room, and taking part there counts.
